World Series Tickets

Everyone remembers the 1991 World Series who saw it. Played between the Twins and Braves, the Series was ranked by many fans and several publications to be the best ever played. It seemed every run, every play counted: as five games were within a single run, three games went into extra innings, four games went down to the final at-bat. And, with 69 total innings, the fans really got their moneys worth! The 1991 World Series was the longest seven-game World Series ever. (Plus, both league champions had finished the previous season in last place!) That was a first for Major League Baseball. And the World Series has tons of stories like that. Teams who surprise fans, plays to be remembered forever, Miracle Mets! You name it. The World Series is the fireworks of the heart and soul of America's pastime.

The Yankees made history last year. Who will make it by winning in 2010? Could the Yanks win their 28th World Series championship? And will you be there to see that history in the making live? Who will win the clinching game? Will there be any double steals this year?

Will you be traveling to the next World Series? Will you catch the next great World Series? In the hearts of many Americans, Major League Baseball owns October. It's the exciting time when the League Championship Series and postseason battles determines the winner of the pennant races. Who will gain the big step and travel to "the Fall Classic" and play in the World Series. Who will be the next Champs?

In 1991's classic series, it was the first time since the 60s that a seventh game of the World Series ended with a 1'0 score. It was one of the very, very few to end with an extra-inning seventh-game. Oddly, it was the second in five seasons in which the home team won all seven games in the Series. (The other time it occurred, coincidentally, was in 1987, which was also won by the Twins.)

The Game 7 of this year's World Series may bring new records and never-before-seen feats. It happened before. It can happen again. Anything is possible when you go and see a World Series Game.

Recently, The New York Yankees' 2009 World Series trophy traveled to the U.S. Military Academy. It was the Yankees way--and Major League Baseball's way--to thank the cadets for in excess of a decade of work and sacrificing. As the baseball season readies itself to awaken again in the Spring, this upcoming season is dedicated to the things that make America proud. And this upcoming Series is ripe with new possibilities for surprise: to where will the next World Series Trophy travel?
