Tickets are available now for venues across the U.S. Three Headline acts for the price of one: with dozens of Top Ten hits and over 100 million in album sales between them, these three powerhouses of rock ruled the airwaves in the Seventies (part of the 80s too). Indeed, they came to define "rock" for a whole generation of Americans. Styx is from Chicago. Their first album "Styx" came out in 1972. The album was influenced by the then popular prog rock of bands like Emerson Lake & Plamer and Yes. Styx released several more albums and constantly toured. In 1977 the band broke through with "The Grand Illusion," which went triple-platinum with a Top Ten hit, "Come Sail Away," and a Top 40 hit "Angry Young Man (Fooling Yourself)." The 1978 followup "Pieces of Eight" was a harder rocking affair. "Pieces" yielded the Top 40 hits "Renegade," "Blue Collar Man," and "Sing For the Day." 1979's album "Cornerstone" brought Styx their first number one hit, the ballad "Babe." Their 1981 album "Paradise Theater" was their first album to reach number one on the Billboard Hot 200 chart and was the source of five more hit singles. ("The Best of Times" and "Too Much Time On My Hands" were both Top Ten hits.) In 1983, they released "Kilroy Was Here," a rock opera-style concept album which contained the hit "Mr. Roboto."

Foreigner were formed in 1976 by British rocker Mick Jones, ex-Spooky Tooth member. Jones joined forces with ex-King Crimson member Ian McDonald and American vocalist Lou Gramm. Their eponymous debut album was released in 1977 and was an instant smash in the U.S., selling over 4 million copies and foisting the inescapable hits "Feels Like the First Time" and "Cold as Ice" upon an eager record-buying public. Their second album, 1978's "Double Vision," sold 5 million. "Double Vision" contained the Hits "Hot Blooded" and the title track. The third album, 1979's "Head Games" also had two hits, the title track and "Dirty White Boy." 1981's "4" was Foreigner's biggest smash, with the hits "Urgent," "Juke Box Hero," "Break It Up," and "Waiting For a Girl Like You." Future new wave star Thomas Dolby was brought in to play synthesizers on the album.

Kansas were formed in 1970 in Topeka, the capital of that state. They were an ambitious American prog rock band at a time when most prog bands were British. "Kansas" was released in 1974 on the rock promoter Don Kirshner's label Kirshner Records. They would release two more albums and tour extensively before their 1977 breakthrough, "Leftoverture." That album featured the massive hit "Carry On My Wayward Son" and helped to bring orchestrated prog rock into the American mainstream. The followup "Point of Know Return," released later that same year included the Top Ten hit "Dust In the Wind," which has become their signature tune.

The United In Rock tour comes to venues across the U.S. this summer, including the beautiful Red Rocks Amphitheater in Colorado, the Dodge Theater in Phoenix, the Bank of America Pavilion in Boston, the The Verizon Wireless Amphitheater in Virginia Beach, the Oklahoma City Zoo Amphitheater and the Charter One Pavilion at Northerly Island in Chicago.
