Norv Turner is the current San Diego Chargers coach. Before joining the Chargers, he coached the Washington Redskins and the Oakland Raiders. Turner was also the offensive coordinator with the Dallas Cowboys under Jimmy Johnson, and he has received much of the credit for shaping Troy Aikman into a Hall of Fame player.

Hes a touchdown making machine with the NFL record for most single season touchdowns, most single season rushing touchdowns, most consecutive games with a rushing touchdown and most consecutive multi-touchdown games.

While part of the AFL, the Chargers also used a shield featuring a lightning bolt, a horses head and the word Chargers. The teams mascot is the Bolt Man.
