In order to be sure to fill the seats on those bitterly cold days in November and December the Chicago Bears take great pains to keep their fans engaged. They have a draft party when the NFL Draft is one and have another event in April to keep the binds strong. Then they hold events at the beginning and ending of Training Camp to get momentum into the regular season.

Being in such a tough Division in the NFC and having other rivalries with other NFC teams the Bears have a tough path to the Super Bowl each year. What they hope to do is be more than spoilers but that was their role for many seasons until they won the Super Bowl in 1985. Since then the Chicago Bears have tried to ensure that the road to the Super Bowl ends in Chicago for many a team as they build to get back to the greatness.

Those winds can bring a wind chill that can lower the temperature into the 20s F. With those temperatures it is a tough day to play football but an even worse day to watch it in the stands.

The Reunion at Soldier Field is a fan celebration event designed by the Chicago Bears to kick off the start of training camp and to let the fans get a look at the new team as it forms. The Chicago Bears are in a tough division in the NFL with perennial Super Bowl contenders like the Green Bay Packers and the Minnesota Vikings and these teams are tough competition for the Bears year in and year out. Less so with the Detroit Lions, the other team making up the Division though of late the Lions have been putting up more of a fight.
