There are a number of exciting professional golf tournaments in the world for fans to check out. Among the most popular and most attended events available for PGA tickets are a variety of tournaments that take place primarily in the United States with the exception of the British Open.
The season generally opens in January with the Bob Hope Classic in La Quinta, California. The tournament is hosted by Arnold Palmer and is one of the grand competitions of the PGA tour of championships. Last years tournament was won by Pat Perez. In February the AT&T Pebble Beach National golf tournament takes place in Pebble Beach, California. Then in March there is the Arnold Palmer Invitational tournament which takes place in Orlando, Florida. In April, the Shell Houston Open takes place in Humble, Texas. In late April the Quail Hollow Championship takes place in Charlotte, North Carolina. One of the real prize tournaments is the US Open which takes place in Bethpage State Park in New York in June. The British Open tees off in July in Turnberry, Ayrshire. In August it is time for the PGA Championship tournament which took place in Chaska, Minnesota in 2009.
