Roadrunner Records is proud to present the band that never takes anything for granted: Nickelback. Nickel back is touring and they are doing some wild covers, great new tunes, and mean new shows. Nickelback has added shows to their Dark Horse Tour. The Nickelback Dark Horse Tour starts now and runs through the fall. The London and Toronto reviews (from the John Labatt Centre and ON Air Canada Centre, respectively) have been praiseworthy of the band's valiantly strong live shows, setlists, and visual experience. This Dark Horse Tour has all the melody of George Harrison's "Dark Horse" album and all the grittiness of Liv Mueller's Dark Horse Project. Aptly named in its own right, the Canadian hard rock masters have kept the name of their tour and aim of purpose the same for years: Rock Hard and Beautiful.
The post-grunge darlings have been doing "Highway to Hell" and "Use Somebody" along with other surprises along the way; both AC/DC and Kings of Leon should be proud at the homage. Nickelback isn't afraid of anything. Their never ending tour shares á la Dylan a classic rock and roll purpose: pack as many great tunes as you can into a setlist that is extremely fresh and full of surprises. And that is what Nickelback is doing on tour, bringing the fans who get to see them live the best they can. "Here in your nickel back" was Mike Kroeger's most muttered phrase before his rock and roll days kicked into high gear. Today, Chad Kroeger, Ryan Peake, Mike Kroeger, and Daniel Adair are giving people Nickelback: a great shot of rock and roll.
Nickelback is playing stuff off their string of hit albums: "Curb," "The State," "Silver Side Up," "The Long Road," "All The Right Reasons," and now "Dark Horse," their sixth album. "Something in Your Mouth," "Burn It To the Ground," "Gotta Be Somebody," "I'd Come for You," "Next Go Round," "Just to Get High," "Never Gonna Be Alone," "Shakin' Hands," and "This Afternoon" are all part of the new list of concert possibilities for the Dark Horse Nickelback Tour 2010.
