NASCAR Nationwide Series Tickets

The NASCAR Nationwide Series is one of the most sought after tickets that a racing fan can buy. It is the best of all stock car racing that the National Association of Stock Car Auto Racing has available on an annual basis. This is the place where the lower circuit of NASCAR speedsters comes to hone their skills and pave a path to future NASCAR gold in the Sprint Cup race on the CUP circuit. The Sprint Cup is also scheduled for the same weekend so fans have two chances to buy tickets for a NASCAR series of events.

Originally, the NASCAR Nationwide Series was called the Busch series and the Busch Grand National series. When the original sponsor pulled away from the event in 2006, the new sponsor was brought on board for the 2008 season. Despite the name across the banner, there is no mistaking the fact that the NASCAR Series is always a ticket to ride into the fast-paced world of auto sports.

The original races in this division were regarded as the Sportsman division of 1950. As the fourth series hosted by NASCAR it followed in the tracks of both the Roadster and Modified series of 1948, as well as the original Strictly Stock series in 1949. The cars in the Sportsman series were older models and did have modifications. But the modifications that were made to the vehicles were nothing in the league of the Modified series cars. 1968 brought forth even more change and NASCAR welcomed the Model Sportsman series. This allowed for larger track races hosting major drivers and racing teams to new venues such as the now legendary Daytona International Speedway.

The tickets to any of these events, despite the year or makeup of the specific event, has always been major successes amongst fans and drivers alike, thus allowing for the continued growth and allegiance to the sport of professional automotive racing. The original drivers in these older series used either V-8 motors with a smaller 300 cubic inch arrangement or more current year models of vehicles that housed V6 motors under the hood. Needless to say, these NASCAR events of yesteryear have helped to lay out a golden path for all races to come at the emergence of amazing talent in the modern Nationwide events for which any true fan buys a ticket.

Nationwide Insurance took on the position as sponsor for the series and in 2008 the NASCAR Nationwide Series started selling tickets to the new event. In more recent years, the Car of Tomorrow of NASCAR has changed in certain critical details to further differentiate the series from the Sprint Cup Series. A close look reveals that the cars are at least one hundred pounds lighter with a shorter wheelbase. The series used different cars than those used in the Cup series. The NASCAR Nationwide Series features cars that utilize V6 engines, while other series demand a V8 engine. Only the best tickets available can be bought in order to witness these specifics firsthand at the Nationwide Series each year. Nothing holds back the further development of the sport of auto racing, as it is fueled by a desire to not only go faster, but to obtain strength and lasting value to an already stable brand.

As a result of lasting changes from the evolution of the sport, lead has been eliminated from every vehicle in NASCAR and all of the vehicles have run on unleaded fuel since the last of three fuel test races in 2007. The last race to utilize lead fuel was historically run at Daytona. Tires have also evolved in this series to include the ability to compete in conditions of falling rain.
