The greatest honor for a NASCAR driver is an invitation to be inducted to the Hall of Fame. Now everyone can have a chance to see the legends of the speedway at this red carpet event by purchasing tickets. The inductees are decided upon in a secret closed door meeting that occurs on an annual basis. The Nominating Committee is joined by an exclusive group that includes owners of race tracks, retired NASCAR drivers, crew chiefs, owners, various members of media outlets, as well as Hall of Fame NASCAR drivers. A ticket to the Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony is worth more than money can buy, as there is no true way to place a value on the environment created by the NASCAR elite.
We will notify you by email when your tickets become available.
A total of fifty one votes were cast in 2009 to determine the 2010 inductees. This is not to discount the fan vote that is tallied from viewers of NASCAR.com. At the NASCAR Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, inductees are represented by family members or others who are close to the driver. They may make mention of some of the defining moments of the life of an inductee as part of the acceptance speech. Various celebrities join established NASCAR drivers in making the presentations to those who have earned a place amongst the stars in the NASCAR Hall of Fame and the amazing history that it represents.
In May of 2010, the NASCAR Hall of Fame opened its doors to the public in a new interactive complex in Uptown Charlotte. The facility is a massive 150,000-square feet and is the home to a treasure trove of memorabilia, artifacts, and other priceless items that honor the NASCAR tradition. A ticket to the NASCAR Hall of Fame allows a true fan and even casual observer to view everything every part of the facility, as well as a Hall of Honor, a state of the art theater complex that can hold 275 people, a restaurant called Buffalo Wild Wings, a broadcast studio that is owned and operated by the NASCAR Media Group, and a retail outlet store called Sports Avenue. This facility allows for a fan to come into the new home of NACAR and pay homage with great reverence to all of those involved with making the sport of NASCAR into the phenomenon that it has become. It is also a true tribute to the fans that have, in their own individual ways, brought the kindling for the fire that fuels the NASCAR brand.
