The Milwaukee Brewers are a professional baseball team in the central division of MLB's National League. The Brewers got their name from the beer industry in Wisconsin. Playing their home games at Miller Park, the Brewers are still in pursuit of their first World Series title. The team came closest in 1982, when they dominated the American League East Division with superb pitching and outstanding batting production.
In 2009, the Brewers were led by the hard-nosed ball playing by All Stars Ryan Braun, Prince Fielder and Trevor Hoffman who have helped make Milwaukee Brewer tickets a national interest when they play in any ball park in any city. Braun finished the year with a .320 batting average while crushing a league-leading 203 hits and an impressive total of 114 RBIs for the year.
Renowned Brewer Prince Fielder hit 46 home runs falling just one out-of-the-park trip home short to Albert Pujois who led the league with 47. But to Fielder's credit, the outstanding Milwaukee Brewer's first baseman knocked in a league-leading 141 runs making him one of the most overlooked superstar first basemen's in the league. For pen relief there was few better than the Brewers' All Star pitcher Trevor Hoffman who walked off the rubber at the end of the season with an admiral ERA of 1.83.
The dynamic Brewers withdrew from being competitive for the following decades until 2008 when the team won the Wild Card race. The 2008 Brewers gave the franchise its first breath of hope with its first postseason birth in 26 years. Unfortunately, once again the Brewers fell short when they were eliminated by the soon-to-be-crowned World Champion Philadelphia Phillies.
Milwaukee Brewers tickets are always in demand when the team plays its home games at Miller Park. For the never say die hardcore baseball fans of Milwaukee, the Brewers are held close to their hearts and the teams following is dedicated and faithful.
