Ford Championship At Doral Tickets

The Ford Championship ended its long successful run in 2006. The 'Blue Monster' is another greatly missed defunct PGA tournament. For 44 years, the tournament host was the Doral Golf Resort. Over time, the spillover reference to a Doral course became the tournament's unofficial nickname. Doral Golf Resort has five spectacular golf courses: the Great White Course, the Gold Course, The Red Course, the McLean Course, and the Blue Monster. The master links are nestled on the oceanfront of Miami. Doral Golf Resort & Spa was host to every Championship that this event has held. 2001-2002, the tourney was called the Genuity Championship, then in 2003 changed to the Ford Championship. Prior to 2000, dating back to 1962, the 'Doral' name was part of every title. The Doral was known for having the ability to attract the world's greatest golfers'”every year!
