Disney has done ice shows for close to thirty years, and the current show is Disney on Ice: Princess Classics, covering the best of Disney beloved princess stories, including Snow White, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Mulan, and more.
Besides his own cartoon characters like Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck, one of Disney’s greatest trademarks is giving his own stamp to classic fairy tales, and making them distinctly Disney.

A Princess Paradise
Disney has done many ice shows, beginning in 1981 with World on Ice, and among the shows they have presented over the years include Toy Story, Princess Wishes, Sports Goofy, Peter Pan, Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid, and many more. Now comes the current show, Princess Classics.
The show is divided into two parts. The first half has a combination of classic Disney princesses from Aladdin, Sleeping Beauty, The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Mulan, and Snow White. After the intermission, the second half of the show is dedicated to the story of Cinderella.

Disney on Ice has not only launched many ice shows, but they have played all over the world, including South America, Australia, Japan, England, the Middle East, and more. Some Disney on Ice shows have toured for years, and judging by the family reviews online, Princess Classics could be another hit on Disney’s roll.
A Great Show For Your Little Princess
Nothing brings out a little girl’s inner princess like a Disney on Ice show. As several parent reviews online will attest, you will see the arena full of little girls wearing Snow White and Cinderella costumes. One parent wrote that when the prince in the Cinderella segment of the show was going around the arena with the slipper, trying it on little girl’s feet in the audience, his daughter went wild yelling, “Try mine! Try Mine!”
Disney knows how to put on a great show for the family that will capture the imaginations of your children, and bring their favorite Disney moments to life. As one mom wrote online: “The audience really got into the spirit, such as screaming at Snow White not to bite the poison apple. And of course they swooned and clapped at the various ‘true love’s kiss’ moments.
“Not surprisingly, the sets and costumes were amazing,” she continued. “From glow-in-the-dark effects for The Little Mermaid to shooting fire out of the castle during the finale, there were plenty of ‘Oooohs’ and ‘Ahhs’…I loved the closing scene, as all character were dressed in beautiful white wedding attire (yes, I know I’m a sap).” If Princess Classics can bring that out of one parent, imagine the fun and enchantment you will have with your family.
