Wonderful Fun For Your Pre-Schoolers
As one review of the show stated, “The production successfully creates a believable translation of the characters to the stage. The Man with the Yellow Hat, Professor Wiseman, Chef Pisghetti, and the Doorman and portrayed by actors who do spot-on impersonations of the characters voices and mannerisms. Their larger-than-life costumes translate perfectly.”
Bringing Curious George to life is clearly no easy task, but Curious George Live pulls it off. “They did a great job with George's costume,” the review continues, “and tried their best to match his frenetic movement with some pretty cool tumbling. Overall they did an exceptionally believable job bringing these beloved characters to life.”
Another review of Curious George, where a mom took her child, recalled, “The scenery perfectly depicted the series in the same bright cheery ways. The overall presentation is captivating for both the young and the young at heart. The floor seats are definitely recommended as your youngster will get an up close view of the cast, as they exit the stage frequently to interact with the floor audience.”
Her child was especially happy to have actually met Curious George, who came down into the audience to meet a lot of children in the audience. “He ‘met Curious George in real life.’ This statement was repeated several times on the way home while he was talking with big hand gestures.” And a great children’s show like Curious George Live can create wonderful memories like this for your kids as well.
