The show has also been called 'a harmonious fusion of dance, acrobatics and live music,' bringing Elvis' music to life like never before. For many, Elvis is like a religion, and Cirque Du Soleil has created a great worship service for those who pray at the Elvis altar.

We have acrobatics, which are expected from any Cirque show. [But] whenever you see an acrobatic number, it is lyrical. It is part of the storytelling.'

Thomas has also described Viva Elvis as 'A party! An euphoric trip to a timeless musical legend.' Thomas also said he wants audiences to walk away from the show understanding why Elvis became a phenomenon, and it's certain this show makes it crystal clear why Elvis is still loved and remembered today.
